Chart makes claims about apartment size that could just be a revision to the mean. Small refrigerators are essentially unavailable in North Almeria but ranges are. Washing machines and dishwashers are now demanded by tenants. Americans also demand dryers and full size giant washing machines. Bathrooms in Europe can be large enough to fit a washing machine so I don't see full support for the bathroom size claims. The dining room in historic apartments may have been replaced with a larger eat in kitchen.
This was fantastic. Really appreciated the discussion throughout on the obstacles that financing poses to family-oriented housing units.
I would flip the fridge question.
Every large family I know has multiple fridges/ freezers.
